Faculty Development Programs

The faculty forms the most valuable resource of the technical education system. With the advances in technology and its adoption by Indian and Global industry occurring at a rapid pace, it has become essential that the technical teachers should develop an aptitude for life long learning and have an exposure to advances in their field through Faculty Development Programmes.

Through the process of need analysis, Extencore Solutions Pvt. Ltd (ESPL), PUNE has identified and finalized areas for staff develop ment in consultation with the State Directorates / Board of Technical Education. This programme brochure gives details of the short term courses proposed for the benefit of teachers of Maharashtra, Orissa, Bihar and Gujarat to be organized during 2010-11 by ESPL. A few of the programs are earmarked for national and international level participation, from teachers of Engineering Colleges all over the country.

The FDP cover particularly new technologies like FEA,CFD,NVH on all the aspects like theoretical, Industry applications and Software training ,use of innovative instructional methods and approaches, design and development of learning resources and general management and development of institutions and programmes. The AICTE has recognized the short term training programmes conducted by ESPL at various colleges in INDIA for consideration for the purpose of movement to higher grades under the Career Advancement Scheme.

The faculties who have developed rich expertise in their areas of specialization and who undertake consultancy and research work in various industries like Automotive,Aerospace,Heavy Engineering and Agro machinery. ESPL also helps in setting up Experimental Laboratory , contributing in the new product design, Research paper presentation, National and International Conference arrangements and active participation on CAE, CFD, NVH and conduct of these programmes.

The continuous up gradation of laboratory and instructional facilities assure the participants a rewarding learning experience.
